This course explores how medicinal mushrooms influence oral cancer biology through β-glucan–driven anticancer pathways, including apoptosis, oxidative regulation, and cell-cycle control. Learners will examine how mushroom compounds activate NK and T-cell immune responses, strengthening antitumor immunity.

Using systems biology tools, the course introduces disease–herb network mapping to reveal molecular intersections between mushroom actives and oral cancer targets. Participants will also work with computational methods to generate predictive immune-response signatures and integrate findings across multi-omics datasets. By the end, learners gain a concise, data-informed understanding of mushrooms’ therapeutic potential in oral cancer.
